Women's entrepreneurship Week: digital storytellers
Head of Client Services
Jeanette Palmer is the Head of Client Services for NAIL Communications, a strategically minded advertising agency where no two challenges are ever the same. Current clients range from national and regional brands, including: Stonyfield Farms, New Balance, Brown University and Floating Hospital for Children at Tufts Medical Center.
Kaitlyn grew up on the Internet—her awkward adolescent years safely entombed in the torment servers of AIM, Live journal, and MySpace. As a community manager at NAIL, she charms trolls and maintains the brand’s voice and tone across nuanced platforms, while staying culturally relevant, authentic, and timely. Her goal is to build up the brand’s reputation through a collection of fast, short-term relationships and consumer conversations.
To describe Kaitlyn in three fictional characters, she’d be April Ludgate from Parks and Recreations, Lydia Deetz from Beetlejuice, and Abbi’s alter ego Val from Broad City.
Head of Production
Lizzi Weinberg came to advertising by way of filmmaking as she spent the early part of her career in the San Francisco Bay Area at Pixar Animation Studios. Since 2007, she has been at NAIL Communications, an advertising agency in Providence, Rhode Island, where she serves as Head of Production.
At NAIL, Lizzi has produced campaigns that have won some of the industry's most prestigious advertising awards, including Clio, Effie, Jay Chiat, One Show, FWA, and Webby. But she is probably most proud that, unprompted and without being paid, one of NAIL's campaigns was a Jon Stewart bit on the Daily Show.
