Spenser is a Tampa Bay transplant, and has called many places "home". She grew up in La Jolla, CA, attended college at Indiana University, and lived in Austin, TX for work. In Austin, Spenser began her career in the IT world with General Motors IT as a Software Quality Assurance Analyst. In the Fall of 2016, Spenser moved to Tampa to be closer to her family in Sarasota, and work for PODS as a Digital Quality Assurance Analyst. Spenser also freelances in web design and digital art, and makes jewelry. In her free time, you can find her sifting through thrift stores, attending and vending at art markets, trying ALL the restaurants and breweries around town, snuggling with her doggie Cholula, and spending lots of time with her family. She is SO looking forward to connecting with other Tampa Bay ladies, building some long-lasting friendships, and creating opportunities for other women to do the same!

Catherine made the big jump down to Tampa (900 miles from DC) a year ago with her newborn baby and husband. Though spending her time at the Getaway or Picnic Island frequently seems like her true calling, she has spent the past six years assisting victims of crime, ranging from identity theft to human trafficking. Catherine has a Master's in Social Work from FSU, and has specialized in non-profit management, grant writing, and strategic planning-- always fueled by coffee. Now, being in Tampa, Catherine is dedicated to playing with her son on the beach and getting involved in her new community as much as she can.
