Maryann lives in sunny St. Petersburg, Florida. Originally from Maryland, Maryann has called a number of places home including Washington, D.C., Texas, New York and Uganda. She works as a public relations manager for a fast-growing media start-up in St. Pete. Having attended an all-girls private school for eight years, Maryann remains committed to the development of other women leaders. She looks forward to developing more sisterhoods in the Tampa Bay area.
Shayla recently graduated with her Master's of Science in Marketing from the University of South Florida and is slowly conquering the workforce in her communications position for a tech manufacturer. Even though she was born and raised in the Tampa Bay area, she has severe wanderlust and is lucky enough to have traveled many places both domestically and internationally. Like her eclectic educational background, her interests range from photography, to writing, to baking/creating new recipes, to wanting to save the Earth, to kickboxing, to whatever else pops up. She's most looking forward to learning from and creating new friendships with fellow Tampa ladies!
While she currently calls St. Petersburg home, you'll often hear Jessica say "I just got back from ______!" She is a creative marketer with global experience in higher education, digital media + graphic design in both in-house and agency settings. Her work in the marketing field has [officially] been for the last eight+ years, but Jessica's passion for graphic design and a solopreneur mindset has spanned for decades. She oversees the marketing for [almost] all things international at USF and is also a freelance marketing strategist and graphic designer. When Jessica isn't on a mission to #GSD, you can find her catching as many sunsets as possible or off on a new adventure around the world.
Catherine made the big jump down to Tampa (900 miles from DC) a year ago with her newborn baby and husband. Though spending her time at the Getaway or Picnic Island frequently seems like her true calling, she has spent the past six years assisting victims of crime, ranging from identity theft to human trafficking. Catherine has a Master's in Social Work from FSU, and has specialized in non-profit management, grant writing, and strategic planning-- always fueled by coffee. Now, being in Tampa, Catherine is dedicated to playing with her son on the beach and getting involved in her new community as much as she can.
