Here is a list of great women-centered organizations you can get involved with:
- Women's Fund of RI: The Women's Fund of Rhode Island invests in women and girls through research, advocacy, grant making and strategic partnerships designed to advance gender equity through systemic change. Our popular Cocktails & Conversations networking series explores a variety of women's issues through panel discussions and we frequently host presentations on topics related to improving the status of women and girls. To learn more about our organization, please visit our website at www.wfri.org, where you can sign up to receive emails about our upcoming events. We also post our news and events on social media, so like and follow us on Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and Instagram @WomensFundRI. If you would like to learn more about our volunteer opportunities, please contact Kelly Nevins at email@example.com.
- Six Degrees Society is a collective of curious hustlers. We come together through creative programming to connect and grow. We hail from the business sector, tech world, creative class and hospitality scene, from dynamic startups and corporate heavyweights and we’re all moving towards an inspired future.
At Six Degrees Society, we help our tribe of dreamers and doers stretch their skills, challenge their minds and stir their creativity with out-of-the-box programming. Events range from expert panels, 1:1 events and hands-on workshops and every gathering includes speed networking. Please click to learn more about the organization: www.sixdegreessociety.com
