SPOTLIGHT QUESTIONNAIRE

Signature Cocktail: Something virgin

Tea or Coffee? Green or Matcha tea all the way

I collect… crystals and stones

Favorite City? New York :)

Style Icon? Victoria Beckham

Bloom of choice? Peonies

Favorite Season? Summer

I'm lusting after...a new camera

Most prized possession? My iphone

Lady Crush? So many...Hannah Bronfman, Blogger Julia Engel, Beyonce...

On weekends, I… go to the farmers markets, cook, relax, walk through central park.

What's your background- career, where you grew up, school?

I grew up in New York, never dreaming that I’d end up with a career in health and wellness. I come from a typical American family, and we grew up eating a standard American Diet, with really no interest in nutrition. But, as I got older, I developed acne, was always sick, and was overweight. I originally studied finance in college, at Fordham University, but was introduced to the concept of “food as medicine” by a classmate. I went down the nutrition rabbithole, and soon researching food and nutrition became my passion. After graduating with a degree in business, and getting a finance job, my passion for health didn’t subside. I eventually ended up continuing to study natural cooking at Natural Gourmet Institute and Integrative Nutrition health coaching. Soon, I decided to make the leap from finance to health coaching, and the rest is history!

What's your biggest success so far? Publishing a book, The Real Food Grocery Guide.

What's your favorite thing about being a Lady Project member?

Being connected with so many interesting and inspiring women.

What is the biggest challenge in your industry?

Getting people excited about prevention of chronic illness and disease, rather than just reversal.

What advice would you give to a business owner starting out in your industry that you wish you would have known going in?

Don’t forget about social media - in this day and age, it is crucially important for just about any business! Pick a social channel you think your audience is on, and consistently post valuable content!

Is your business involved with any community groups?
Not currently.

Lady Project Workshop Series: Gather Momentum

  • Lady Project Works

Gather Momentum: Get clear, focused and moving towards your career goals.

Socially conscious, ambitious women like you can make the world radically better. Yet, our vision for that better world is too often clouded by the constant transitions of modern careers. Whether thinking about a career pivot, starting a side hustle or business, returning to work or school, or finally settling down in a new position - transitions can leave us feeling lost, stuck and often times alone. It’s time we come together. Let’s stop worrying about our careers by ourselves and instead engage in brave, kind and honest conversations with supportive fellow dreamers. GATHER MOMENTUM uses community as catalyst and brings women together for an intimate and supportive gathering: we share what is working in our careers and what is not, gather actionable feedback and inspiration, and identify the one strategic goal we each need to focus on to build momentum right now as we design a career we love. Walk away feeling reenergized with clarity - take home a powerful one-pager detailing your action plan for the month ahead.
