2016 has been the best year yet for The Lady Project! Join us as we list off the top ten Lady Project moments of the past year.
1 // The Lady Project Summit
In March 2016 we had our fourth annual Lady Project Summit at The Vets in Providence, RI. It is a day-long event with three keynote speakers, workshops to better your business and yourself, and networking with like-minded women with a bunch of surprises thrown in throughout the day. The summit has become a weekend-long event with pre-parties and a gifting suite the night before and brunch, yoga, and shopping the day after. Check out more photos from photographers Hanna Furey and Chelsea Turner over on Facebook.
2 // DFW Lady Project Launch
In April the eleventh Lady Project chapter launched in Dallas. They celebrated at The Quarter Bar in Uptown in Dallas, and Sierra Barter, founder and CEO of The Lady Project, Juna Jones-Moore, senior manager of Talent Acquisition & Diversity at GameStop, and Sarah Bertness, editor of LIKEtoKNOW.it were the 3x3 speakers for the night. April Mitchell, CEO of the Dallas Area Rape Crisis Center also shared stories about the phenomenal work she is doing with DARCC in the Dallas area. Read more about the event here.
3 // Lady Project Summer Guide 2016
June brought us the launch of the 2016 edition of the Lady Project Summer Guide. PVD Lady Project members partied at Ogie's Trailer Park on the west side of Providence. Providence Monthly editor Julie Tremaine, executive producer of The Rhode Show, Ashley Erling, and Kate MacDonald, marketing manager for Coastway Bank shared their favorite Rhode Island summer secrets with the crowd.
