Summer Guide 2016 // Summer In The City

Cover stories are meant to evoke a certain feeling, tell a story, help set the tone for the feel of the issue or magazine. Coming up with a theme for the LP Gift Guide cover story is fun and made easy, primarily by the fact that we are IN Rhode Island, the smallest state that yet offers the biggest thrill-inducing experience. You want the beach. RI got you. You want art. RI got you. You want music. RI got you. You want fresh + farmed. RI GOT YOU.

This year PVDFest was the place to be at. Last year's turnout was so wildly successful it was decided to be an annual event. And we couldn't be happier!

It truly offered the perfect backdrop for our Summer in The City cover story. Conveying the great energy that emanated from bands playing at Washington Street corners to the amazing vendors and their displays on Westminster Street, to eager attendees on a warm and sunny Saturday, was our aim and more.

We hope you feel it too. Enjoy! You can see the spread on page 48 of the Lady Project 2016 Summer Guide.
