Comfy sweaters, boots, and hot apple cider. It's fall and there is a seemingly limitless list of things to do in NYC. Whether you are here for a day or you call the Big Apple home, here are the top three things you should do to celebrate fall in the city.

1. Take a Walk in Central Park: Grab a friend and your favorite hot beverage and go for a stroll in Central Park. Be sure to stop and some of the most famous landmarks like the Conservatory Water, Bow Bridge, Belvedere Castle, Strawberry Fields, Bethesda Fountain, and the Lake.

2. Watch the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade: Watch the floats get blown up at the Natural History Museum the day before Thanksgiving. You won't regret watching the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in person - the energy is palpable.

3. Go Ice Skating at Rockefeller Center: One insider secret is that the ice rink at Rockefeller Center opens in the middle of October. Go skating before the tourists come for the holiday season.
