Celebrating Five Years of the PVD Lady Project

On Monday, February 6th, PVD Lady Project celebrated its fifth birthday at Gracie's in Providence, RI. The Savory Grape was on hand to provide wine for the evening and Narragansett Brewing provided beer, setting a jovial tone for the night.

Our 3x3 Speaker Series focused on how you've grown and changed within the past five years and showcased personal and professional growth in all of our speakers.

Patsy Culp of And Celebrate told the story of how attending her first Lady Project Summit led her to find her true purpose for helping others celebrate; Patsy was able to turn celebration into a thriving business over the course of the past five years.

Karina Holyoak Wood of Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses program talked about the next five years and how she hopes to see major growth in Rhode Island by partnering with PVD Lady Project to nurture small business by giving them support and capital.

Throughout the last five years, Shannon Shallcross gained courage and found the value in coming together with women through her work on The Lady Project Board.

Guests also donated toiletries to support Amenity Aid, run by PVD Lady Project member Liz Dugan. We rounded out the night with gorgeous mini cakes and monogrammed macarons by Ellie's Bakery as friends and non-members joined the celebration. PVD Lady Project is extremely excited about how far we have come and we are looking forward to seeing what the next five years hold!
