MEMBER SPOTLIGHT QUESTIONS

What's your background- career, where you grew up, school?I grew up in Nashua, NH and moved to FL in 1989. Raised my children and had many different jobs but always while bartending. I moved back to NH in 2010 and love being home!

What was the vision in the beginning and what is the vision now?My vision in the beginning was to be able to be self employed and love what I do. My vision now is to keep growing my business nationally and always be the best person I can possible be.

What's your biggest success so far?I would love to say my business...but honestly, my children. They have both grown to be amazing adults that I am so very proud of.

What's your favorite thing about being a Lady Project member? The support and feeling of being in a "family" of like minded women.

What is the biggest challenge in your industry? How do you deal with it/how are you going to deal with it?Competition. Not worry about it. I truly believe if I worry all the time about what everyone else is doing, I will lose focus on what I need to do. Take care of my yard...not worry about what someone else is planting in theirs.

What advice would you give to a business owner starting out in your industry that you wish you would have known going in? Be prepared for constant change. Staying complacent with make you come to a stand still. Always look forward to your next step.
