Last Wednesday, BOS Lady Project threw their annual BYOM (Bring Your Own Mentor/Mentee) Bash! Our bash this year was held at Assembly Row in Somerville. It was a beautiful fall night to celebrate mentorship with our attendees!
We began our night at Legal on the Mystic with cocktails and appetizers. The appetizers included bang bang cauliflower, calamari, pizza and crab cakes. The appetizers were so good, there was none left at the end of the night. Notecards were placed on the tables for attendees to write a word or phrase of what mentorship meant to them.
After enjoying our cocktails and apps at Legal, we walked to Muse Paintbar for our private paint night. Before paint night began, attendees were able to grab wine or a beer to drink. Our instructor, Kai, led us in our painting tutorial of how to paint a hot air balloon with a scenic sunset in the background. Kai allowed us to give music suggestions throughout the night - naturally we chose '90s throwback songs. Not only did our attendees leave with their awesome painting, they also left with a swag bag from our friends at Assembly Row! Each attendee received a notebook, coupons, and a reusable bag.
The night was filled with lots of laughter, encouragement, and gaining new connections.
